We are currently seeking a Full-Time Bakery Clerk (Back of House) to join our dynamic team in Sayville, NY. As a Bakery Clerk, you will be responsible for packing bakery items, traying and baking croissants, muffins, and cookies, as well as making pizza dough for our pizza department. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring all bakery products are prepared, baked, and displayed to perfection. In addition to baking, the role involves cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces and equipment according to strict safety standards, rotating products to ensure freshness, and assisting with other bakery-related duties as assigned. Job Requirements
- Must enjoy working with baked goods with a positive attitude towards learning new skills

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in bakery or food service preferred
- knowledge of baking and food safety standards
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- strong attention to detail and a positive attitude towards learning
- good physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods
Job Duties
- Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment
- prepare dough, pack bakery items, prepare bakery cookies, cakes, pastry for oven baking
- remove all baked goods from oven onto cooling racks for next steps
- clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment according to company standards
- maintain and properly use all department equipment
- rotate products to ensure freshness of bakery products
- perform other duties as assigned
