We are currently seeking dedicated Storefront Associates for various positions including Fresh Bread Bakers, POS Cashiers, and Baristas, primarily to fulfill weekend shifts. These roles are essential to maintaining the high standards of customer service and product quality that 85°C Bakery Cafe is known for. The ideal candidates are enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and willing to take on new challenges while embracing the company’s fast-paced, fun, and collaborative work environment.

As a Storefront Associate, you will play a critical role in creating memorable experiences for every guest. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers with warmth and professionalism, baking fresh bread, decorating cakes, preparing specialty drinks, and operating the point of sale system accurately. Additionally, employees will cross-train across multiple departments—Bread, Cake, POS, and Bar—to enhance team flexibility and operational efficiency.

This position requires a minimum of 18 years of age and involves moderate physical activity such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, walking, and performing repetitive hand motions. Candidates must possess acceptable English verbal communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a solid work ethic grounded in teamwork and reliability. Health and safety compliance is paramount; therefore, candidates must be ServSafe certified and adhere to Health Department regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
  • Available to work minimum 20 hours weekly
  • Weekend and holiday availability strongly preferred
  • Ability to perform moderate physical activity including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and squatting continuously
  • Compliance with Health Department regulations
