We are currently seeking talented Associates to join our back of house team in roles such as Baker, Separator, and Cake Decorator. Candidates must be committed to exceptional customer service and have a keen eye for detail, demonstrating a willingness to go above and beyond daily tasks. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards of our products and offers an exciting opportunity for those eager to develop their bakery skills and grow rapidly within a dynamic team environment. Weekend and holiday availability is required to meet operational demands, reflecting the company’s commitment to offering consistent, quality service.

The role involves a combination of baking, cake decorating, separating raw materials, and maintaining a clean, healthy work environment. Associates will perform daily operations including filling, separating, and baking duties, ensuring that each product meets the stringent quality standards of 85C Bakery Cafe. Teamwork and cooperation with store management are vital, as employees are expected to cross-train in various departments such as Bread, Cake, POS, and Bar. Punctuality, adherence to company policies, and upholding health and safety regulations including ServSafe certification are mandatory. The position requires moderate physical activity such as lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent walking, standing, and working in environments with coolers and freezers.

Job Duties

  • Decorate quality 85C baked goods
  • maintain a clean and healthy work environment
  • perform daily operations including separating, filling and baking
  • teamwork, follow direction and work together with the store management team to deliver outstanding service
  • provide sufficient breads and maintain quality to meet 85C standard
  • cross train in each department including bread, cake, POS, bar
  • be on time for all scheduled shifts and adhere to all company policies and guidelines
