Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age
Authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain
Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
Strong customer service skills
Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
Ability to operate bakery equipment according to company guidelines
Ability to work varied shifts
Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs and occasionally pull up to 250 lbs
Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments with various conditions
Adherence to safety standards and use of personal protective equipment

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred
0-3 years supervisory experience preferred
Strong customer service skills
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to operate bakery equipment such as slicer, oven, scale, knives, box cutter, and pricing gun
Authorization to work in the United States
Ability to complete pre-employment drug testing and background check

Job Duties

Creates an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated
Delivers daily conditions that meet company expectations for product availability, freshness, quality and value
Offers product samples and answers product questions
Ensures customer requests and special orders are fulfilled
Promotes teamwork and communicates company and department information
Maintains inventory awareness and reports discrepancies
Reviews and inspects products for quality and freshness
Prepares, packages, labels, and displays products
Utilizes production planning tools to produce fresh products and reduce waste
Ensures product temperature compliance
Maintains safety and food handling standards
Adheres to regulatory compliance requirements
Executes product recalls and withdrawals
Inspects and reports unsafe conditions
Ensures all safety training and procedures are followed
Reports safety risks and illegal activity
