Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
- Ability to operate bakery equipment according to company guidelines
- Ability to work varied shifts
- Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs and occasionally pull up to 250 lbs
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments with various conditions
- Adherence to safety standards and use of personal protective equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 0-3 years supervisory experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to operate bakery equipment such as slicer, oven, scale, knives, box cutter, and pricing gun
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to complete pre-employment drug testing and background check
Job Duties
- Creates an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated
- Delivers daily conditions that meet company expectations for product availability, freshness, quality and value
- Offers product samples and answers product questions
- Ensures customer requests and special orders are fulfilled
- Promotes teamwork and communicates company and department information
- Maintains inventory awareness and reports discrepancies
- Reviews and inspects products for quality and freshness
- Prepares, packages, labels, and displays products
- Utilizes production planning tools to produce fresh products and reduce waste
- Ensures product temperature compliance
- Maintains safety and food handling standards
- Adheres to regulatory compliance requirements
- Executes product recalls and withdrawals
- Inspects and reports unsafe conditions
- Ensures all safety training and procedures are followed
- Reports safety risks and illegal activity
