- ability to operate bakery equipment such as slicer, oven, scale, knives, box cutter, and pricing gun according to company guidelines

Job Duties
- create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important, and appreciated
- deliver daily conditions that meet the company’s expectations for product availability, freshness, quality, and value
- offer product samples, answer product questions, and assist customers in finding or suggesting products
- ensure customer requests and special orders are fulfilled
- promote trust and respect among associates by collaborating and promoting teamwork
- adhere to all local, state, and federal laws, and company guidelines
- maintain awareness of inventory and report discrepancies
- inspect products for quality and freshness and take appropriate action
- prepare, package, label, and display products for sale
- utilize production planning tools to produce fresh products accurately
- follow discard and markdown processes to reduce shrink
- ensure products are held at proper temperatures and retain documentation
- ensure company standards for safety, food handling, sanitation, and productivity are maintained
- comply with regulatory requirements pertaining to food safety, USDA, COOL, and DOA
- execute product recalls and withdrawals timely
- reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and inspecting for unsafe conditions
- report safety risks, illegal activity, and accidents
- ensure adherence to wage and hour policies
- perform other job-related duties as assigned
