Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- ability to follow bakery production and safety procedures
- capable of handling physical demands including lifting up to 30 pounds frequently and occasionally more with assistance
- willing to work in temperature extremes such as freezers and ovens
- maintain regular and predictable attendance
- ability to operate bakery equipment safely
- strong communication and customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- knowledge of bakery products preferred
- at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods following product handling information
- unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays proper amounts per production charts
- maintains cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department
- answers questions and recommends bakery items
- packages freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, and cakes
- decorates special orders or case products
- rotates and stores bakery products following food safety and handling policies
- receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments
- ensures all products are fresh and meet quality standards
- generates labels and price tickets for bakery goods
- cleans and sanitizes bakery equipment and food surfaces
- operates bakery equipment safely according to policies
- maintains all club policies and procedures
- performs other duties including cross-department work as assigned
- maintains regular, predictable, full attendance
