Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in bakery or food service preferred
- Ability to follow product handling and food safety protocols
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to move, lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Commitment to teamwork and positive work environment
- Regular and predictable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service-oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods by following each item's product handling information using ovens and other equipment
- Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays proper amounts based on bakery production chart recommendations
- Packages freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, and cakes
- Decorates special order or case product
- Rotates and stores bakery products following food safety, freshness, and product handling policies and procedures
- Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments
- Ensures all products are fresh and meet company quality standards
- Generates labels and price tickets for bakery goods and performs price check functions when necessary
- Cleans and sanitizes bakery equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- Operates bakery equipment using proper work methods in accordance with safety policies
- Maintains all club policies and procedures
- Answers questions and recommends bakery items
- Takes special orders and handles member calls
- Performs other duties as assigned including working in other departments as needed
- Ensures regular, predictable, full attendance
- Supports flawless execution and application of club policies
- Acts with honesty, integrity, and a member-first mindset
- Maintains a safe and positive environment for members and team
