- must be 18 years of age
- authorization to work in the united states or the ability to obtain the same
- successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- ability to operate bakery equipment according to company guidelines

Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or ged preferred
- 0-3 years relevant experience in bakery or retail environment
- strong customer service skills
- exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
- ability to operate bakery equipment such as slicers, ovens, scales, knives, box cutters and pricing guns
- authorization to work in the united states
- successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- ability to work varied shifts
Job Duties
- create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated
- deliver daily conditions that meet the companys expectations for at shelf product availability, freshness, quality and value
- offer product samples, answer product questions and offer customers assistance in finding or suggesting products
- ensure customer requests and special orders are fulfilled
- promote trust and respect among associates by collaborating, promoting teamwork, and communicating company, department, and job specific information
- maintain awareness of inventory/stocking conditions and report discrepancies
- review and inspect products for quality and freshness and take appropriate action
- prepare, package, label, and display products for sale
- utilize production planning tools to accurately produce fresh products and reduce shrink
- ensure food safety standards are met and document temperature logs
- comply with safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to management
- execute product recalls and withdrawals promptly
- report safety risks and illegal activity
- ensure all associates have received necessary safety training
- ensure equipment is maintained and safety hazards are reported and remediated
