Job Requirements

must be 18 years of age
authorization to work in the united states or the ability to obtain the same
successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
ability to operate bakery equipment according to company guidelines
strong customer service skills
exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
ability to work varied shifts

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or ged preferred
0-3 years relevant experience in bakery or retail environment
strong customer service skills
exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
ability to operate bakery equipment such as slicers, ovens, scales, knives, box cutters and pricing guns
authorization to work in the united states
successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
ability to work varied shifts

Job Duties

create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated
deliver daily conditions that meet the companys expectations for at shelf product availability, freshness, quality and value
offer product samples, answer product questions and offer customers assistance in finding or suggesting products
ensure customer requests and special orders are fulfilled
promote trust and respect among associates by collaborating, promoting teamwork, and communicating company, department, and job specific information
maintain awareness of inventory/stocking conditions and report discrepancies
review and inspect products for quality and freshness and take appropriate action
prepare, package, label, and display products for sale
utilize production planning tools to accurately produce fresh products and reduce shrink
ensure food safety standards are met and document temperature logs
comply with safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to management
execute product recalls and withdrawals promptly
report safety risks and illegal activity
ensure all associates have received necessary safety training
ensure equipment is maintained and safety hazards are reported and remediated
