Job Requirements
- Two or more years of retail scratch baking experience preferred
- Age 18 years or older
- Food Handlers Permit required
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand, walk, twist, sit, and bend for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
- Manual dexterity for handling small objects and equipment
- Ability to push, pull, carry, lift, reach, grip, and balance repeatedly
- Occasional stooping, crouching, kneeling, or crawling
- Prolonged standing and walking
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the store
- Ability to use commercial mixers, pallet jacks, wheelers, trash compactors, ovens, fryers, slicers, knives, wrapping machines, scales, sheeters, trays, pans, racks, tempering tools, temperature-controlled rooms, computers and phones
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in retail or guest service preferred
- Previous food service experience preferred
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in training and developing staff

Job Duties
- Help with the production, development, preparation, and maintenance of bakery items
- Oversee daily bakery operations including production schedules and workflow
- Assist with maintaining inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
- Ensure shelves and cases are filled, fresh, rotated, faced, and cleaned
- Assist with the training and supervision of bakery staff fostering a positive team environment
- Learn about and educate customers regarding Lee's Marketplace bakery products and services
- Maintain and complete orders through digital and in-person order processing
