We are currently seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Bakery Assistant to join our dynamic team. This full-time position, offering competitive hourly pay ranging from $18.00 to $21.00, is ideal for someone with a passion for baked goods and excellent customer service skills. Working approximately 36 to 40 hours per week, primarily from Friday through Tuesday with mandatory weekend shifts, this role is essential to maintaining the smooth operation of our bakery.

The Bakery Assistant will be instrumental in assisting with every aspect of bakery operations, from packaging orders accurately and efficiently to assisting customers in selecting their favorite baked products. This individual will handle baking production reports, support shipping activities, and ensure the bakery’s display and storage areas remain clean and organized according to strict food safety standards.

This role demands someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in attention to detail, quality control, and hygiene. They will engage directly with customers, answering questions, providing product recommendations, and helping to create a welcoming atmosphere. The Bakery Assistant will also manage order placements through the Point of Sale system, reinforcing a seamless customer transaction process.

Experience in baking, pastry arts, or the culinary field is preferred, especially skills related to cake decorating and food production. Fluency in Spanish is a valuable plus, enhancing customer communication in a diverse setting. Candidates should have knowledge of food safety regulations, proper food handling procedures, and familiarity with kitchen equipment and preparation techniques.
