Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times
- Ability to communicate effectively and operate handheld technology
- Ability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds safely
- Capability to work in refrigeration and freezer temperatures and be exposed to common allergens
- Ability to remain mobile throughout the scheduled shift
- Access to all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
- Flexibility to adjust to business and guest needs
- Ability to handle cash register operations accurately as needed
- Comply with all safety policies, best practices and training
- Report hazards and correct where possible
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Previous baking experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
- Ability to work both independently and with a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
Job Duties
- Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by greeting guests and assisting their needs
- Monitor sales and adjust bakery production to drive efficiency and minimize waste
- Uphold and maintain execution of food and beverage standards including food safety protocols
- Produce, package, and label bakery items according to specifications and department routines
- Execute food and beverage processes such as deliveries, replenishment, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and organizing reserve product
- Engage with guests to capture and fulfill customized bakery orders
- Support guest services including cashier backup, order pick-up and drive-up while maintaining compliance
