The Baker's Helper is a vital entry-level position within Albertsons’ bakery operations, designed for individuals who are passionate about baking and seek hands-on experience in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment. This role plays an integral part in the day-to-day bakery activities, working closely with the Bakery Sales Manager to plan production, prepare doughs, glaze pastries, and assist with the baking process from start to finish. Responsibilities include following recipes accurately, applying icings and glazes, monitoring oven temperatures, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. In addition to baking tasks, the Baker's Helper also provides courteous and helpful customer service, answering questions and sharing product knowledge to enhance the customer experience.
