Job Duties
- Set up work area as specified in a timely manner
- Taste to ensure quality of any mise en place
- Take ownership of your station and actively fix problems
- Ensure all prep and menu items are known thoroughly
- Produce and stock items to display before start of business
- Complete and pack catering and wholesale orders by agreed pick up time
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen including floor and surfaces
- Assist with dish station tasks when needed
- Work service with attention to detail, cleanliness and promptness
- Clean station thoroughly at end of shift including scrubbing and mopping
- Fill out accurate prep lists
- Communicate prep and ordering needs to management timely
- Perform other cross-training and duties as directed
- Train new colleagues
- Participate in weekly deep cleaning projects
- Conduct scheduled maintenance and cleaning of floor drains
- Carry out all duties assigned by leadership
