The Baker role at Kolache Factory is a multifaceted position that goes beyond the basic responsibilities of baking. As a Baker, you will play an integral part in preparing fresh kolaches, pastries, and other bakery items by strictly following company recipes and quality standards. You will also assist in preparing fillings, glazes, coffee, and other products necessary for daily service. Maintaining product quality, freshness, and attractive presentation throughout the day is essential to ensure customer satisfaction. This position involves directly engaging with customers, greeting them warmly, providing friendly and efficient service, accurately taking orders, and handling transactions through operating the register. Collaboration is key, as Bakers work alongside other team members to maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary environment in the bakery, kitchen, dining area, and workstations while adhering to food safety and sanitation procedures.

The ideal candidate for this position is dependable with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and comfortable working in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. While prior baking, restaurant, or customer service experience is a plus, Kolache Factory offers paid training to ensure every employee is well-prepared to succeed. The Baker role requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Important scheduling requirements include early morning availability starting as early as 3:00 AM and weekend availability on Saturdays and/or Sundays. The company offers a flexible schedule with full-time and part-time opportunities.
