The role of Baker at Aramark is an exciting opportunity for those passionate about baking and food preparation. As a key member of the Food Services Team, the Baker will engage in crafting delicious baked goods by following mouth-watering recipes and using top-of-the-line equipment. The Baker role may require physical efforts such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing. Food safety certification is required or must be obtained upon employment.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience as a baker or in a related role preferred
- knowledge of baking methods, standards, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage
- ability to obtain food safety certification(s)
- basic math and counting skills
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- physical ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and extended walking and standing
- willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE)
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a baker or in a related role preferred
- proven knowledge of baking methods, standards, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage
- required to obtain food safety certification(s)

Job Duties
- Bakes and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
- sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
- prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, etc.
- operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, mixers, etc.
- safely uses a variety of utensils including knives
- properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
