Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in all bakery-related areas - including coolers, freezers, preparation, and sales areas - is crucial to uphold health and safety standards.

As a team member, you will play an important role in communication between guests and management, ensuring guest requests and concerns are relayed properly. You will also communicate any issues with storage temperatures or equipment to your supervisors to prevent loss or spoilage of products. Furthermore, the role includes responsibilities for maintaining an organized and tidy supply area to ensure smooth department operations. The position also involves assisting in receiving and storing bakery products and performing some front-end duties to minimize customer wait times and enhance the overall shopping experience.

This is a dynamic and hands-on position that requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift products weighing up to 25 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 50 pounds, as well as the ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods. Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset are vital for success. Additional responsibilities include announcing specials and sales on the public address system to help drive sales and inform customers efficiently.
