Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience working as a baker in a professional kitchen
  • food handler certification or willingness to obtain
  • ability to work early morning shifts starting at 3:00 AM
  • physical capability to stand for long durations and lift heavy items
  • strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Experience as a baker in a bakery or pastry shop
  • strong time management and multitasking skills
  • attention to detail and consistency in baking
  • food handler certification or willingness to obtain
  • ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • understanding of dough preparation and baking techniques

Job Duties

  • Prepare mise en place for daily baking production
  • mix doughs according to recipes and specifications
  • shape dough for proofing to ensure proper texture and rise
  • bake goods consistently to high quality standards
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the production kitchen
  • operate baking equipment safely and efficiently
  • follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
