The role of Baker at Press Cafe is essential in bringing the cafe’s culinary vision to life. This full-time role operates from Monday through Saturday, 8 am to 6 pm, offering a consistent schedule that enables the baker to focus on quality and efficiency. The role involves various kitchen duties including food preparation, baking, storage, rotation of inventory, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift. The Baker will also support the team by assisting in food prep during off-peak periods and helping to close down the operation after hours. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, committed to continuous improvement, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team. Adherence to health certifications such as food handler and TABC certification is required, ensuring compliance with all food safety regulations.
