As part of the Food Services Team at Aramark, the Baker role offers a unique opportunity to ignite your passion for baking and culinary arts. This position invites individuals who love to create and innovate with flavors, baking styles, and recipes while working in a safe and structured environment. You will be using top-quality equipment and following detailed production and safety guidelines to prepare a variety of baked products that are both delicious and safely made.
The role requires hands-on involvement with all aspects of baking — from measuring and weighing ingredients, mixing, chopping, and setting up your workstation, to operating ovens and mixers with efficiency and care. Food safety and sanitation are paramount, so you will be expected to adhere strictly to Aramark’s food safety policies and procedures, including proper food storage and cleaning practices.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in baking or related food preparation
- knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
- ability to follow standardized recipes and measurements accurately
- capability to operate baking equipment safely
- willingness to obtain food safety certification(s)
- ability to work standing for extended periods
- physical ability to lift, bend, push, or pull as job requires
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a baker or in a related role preferred
- proven knowledge of baking methods, standards, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage
- required to obtain food safety certification(s)
- demonstrates basic math and counting skills
- demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Job Duties
- Bakes and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
- sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
- prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, etc.
- operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, mixers, etc.
- safely uses a variety of utensils including knives
- properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
- maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
- adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
- ensures security of company assets
