The role we are offering is that of a professional baker who will be responsible for making an assorted range of bakery products such as breads, pies, cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and pastries. The baker will measure ingredients precisely, prepare and shape doughs, and manage the entire baking process, ensuring consistent quality. Decorating baked goods when necessary is also part of the job. On a daily basis, the baker will oversee the bread counters to anticipate how much bread production is needed to meet customer demands effectively. Keeping ingredients fresh and monitoring bakery productivity are crucial responsibilities to ensure that the baked goods meet the company's quality standards.

Additionally, the baker will be responsible for tracking inventory levels and ordering supplies by coordinating with the Store Manager. Receiving merchandise from suppliers and ensuring the proper storage of all ingredients also falls under their duties. The role involves coordinating departmental activities and guiding the work of other employees within the bakery. Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the workstation is mandatory to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Compliance with all food safety standards is critical, including proper food handling and operational safety regarding bakery machinery. The baker must have a solid understanding of how to use various bakery equipment such as knives, pots and pans, ovens, and mixing machines. The pay rate for this position will be competitive and based on the applicant's skill level and experience.
