The role of Baker/Pastry Chef at Leisure Care offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team passionate about delivering high-quality baked goods that delight residents and enhance their dining experience. In this position, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and setting up various baked products including breads, breakfast pastries, cookies, desserts, and other specialty baked goods. You will employ your expertise in baking and pastry production to ensure that all products meet company quality standards and are prepared flawlessly. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong garnishing skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining consistency and creativity in your baking. Ideal candidates will bring 3-5 years of experience in baking or pastry decoration, preferably from high-volume settings such as hotels, clubs, or restaurants. Educational qualifications include a high school diploma or GED equivalent, along with a Food Handler Certificate or willingness to obtain one upon hiring.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3-5 years of baking or pastry experience in a high-volume environment
- Food Handler Certificate or willingness to obtain upon hiring
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina
