We are currently seeking a skilled Baker/Pastry Chef to join our passionate team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, setting up, and producing high-quality baked goods including breads, breakfast bakeries, cookies, pastries, desserts, and other specialty items. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of baking techniques and pastry production, with a strong focus on precision and consistency to meet company standards. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering delectable products that delight our residents and guests. Candidates must bring at least 3-5 years of experience in baking, pastry, or decoration from environments such as high-volume hotels, clubs, or restaurants. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required, along with a Food Handler Certificate or willingness to obtain one upon hiring. Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum 3-5 years baking and pastry experience in hotels, clubs, or restaurants
Food Handler Certificate or willingness to obtain upon hiring
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong knowledge of baking and pastry production
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to follow food safety regulations and company quality standards

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Plan and prepare a variety of baked goods including breads, pastries, and desserts
Set up bakery production processes ensuring quality and consistency
Maintain inventory and order baking supplies as needed
Decorate and garnish pastries and desserts to company standards
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
Collaborate with kitchen and dining staff to meet resident needs
Monitor baking equipment and perform routine cleaning and maintenance
