Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in baking or culinary environment preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- ability to follow recipes and production guidelines accurately
- basic math skills
- ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
- willingness to work varied shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends
- physically able to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods
- compliant with uniform and personal protective equipment policies
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a baker or in a related role preferred
- proven knowledge of baking methods, standards, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage
- required to obtain food safety certification(s)
- demonstrates basic math and counting skills
- demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Job Duties
- Bake and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
- set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
- prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, etc.
- operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, mixers
- safely use a variety of utensils including knives
- properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
- maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers
- adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
- ensure security of company assets
