Additionally, maintaining a clean, organized, and functional workspace is a vital aspect of the role, as is adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

This position offers a competitive starting wage of $21.50 per hour, with progression to $22.68 per hour upon successful completion of a 90-day orientation period. Bakers must be prepared to work across various shifts including day, swing, graveyard, and holidays, supporting the casino's commitment to round-the-clock service. The role also demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods, lift considerable weight, and work in environments where smoke may be present. Importantly, candidates must hold a valid Washington State food handler's card and comply with licensing and regulatory requirements specific to tribal gaming operations.

The role of Baker Level I at Emerald Queen Casino suits those who are motivated to build a career in the culinary arts, particularly in baking and pastry preparation, within a supportive and structured environment. The position encourages skill development through hands-on experience alongside experienced kitchen staff and management. The successful candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about delivering a superior guest experience through their craft.
