Barnes-Jewish Hospital is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead Baker to join their Nutrition and Food Service department. This full-time, day shift position based in Saint Louis, Missouri offers an hourly wage ranging from $18.00 to $27.35, depending on job qualifications and relevant experience. The Lead Baker plays a vital role as a team leader in the preparation of pudding and baked goods, serving patients, the hospital cafeteria, and special functions. This role blends culinary skill with leadership, ensuring the delivery of quality baked products while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment. Additionally, the Lead Baker assists with educating team members, monitoring performance, managing schedules, and supporting department goals.

Candidates are expected to bring 2-5 years of baking experience and hold at least a high school diploma or GED.
