Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months bakery experience or equivalent education, training, or experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • ServSafe certification
  • Ability to follow recipes and bakery management instructions
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and professional conduct skills
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 60 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work in moderate to loud environments with exposure to heat, cold, fumes, and slippery surfaces
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 6 months bakery experience or any combination of education, training, or experience providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • ServSafe certification
  • Ability to comprehend and follow supervisor's instructions
  • Strong coordination, analyzing, precision working, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making skills
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Job Duties

  • Prepare, bake, and finish cakes, pies, French pastry, cream tarts and other dessert/baked items according to the standard recipe
  • Prepare dessert and baked goods for restaurants and banquets as per production sheets
  • Prepare requisition for items for storeroom and pastry/bakery chef approval
  • Maintain clean and sanitary workstations within ServSafe and GSR guidelines
  • Ability to follow directions and recipes as dictated by bakery management
  • Demonstrate abilities to meet performance expectations with communication, initiative, problem solving, guest service, work habits, and professional conduct
  • Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position
