Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods up to 8 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and reach as needed
  • Comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment with varying temperatures and moderate noise levels
  • Early morning start times required
  • Full weekend availability required

Job Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and process consistency
  • Ability to work early morning shifts reliably
  • Physical stamina for repetitive production tasks
  • Comfortable working in warm kitchen environments
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Previous baking or food production experience preferred
  • ServSafe or Food Handler certification

Job Duties

  • Properly proof, boil, and bake bagels using commercial kettles and ovens
  • Follow standardized recipes and baking procedures
  • Adhere to precise baking schedules and batch timing
  • Monitor product quality including size, texture, color, and consistency
  • Adjust processes as needed while maintaining standards
  • Ensure every batch meets quality expectations
  • Maintain accurate portioning and shaping standards
  • Protect brand consistency through disciplined execution
  • Communicate production issues proactively
  • Operate all equipment safely and according to food safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary baking environment
  • Complete cleaning, sanitation, and restocking responsibilities
  • Follow all health and food safety guidelines
  • Ensure daily production meets volume targets
  • Support inventory awareness and ingredient management
  • Assist with opening procedures and preparation for service
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and leadership team
