Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous bakery or pastry experience in a hotel or high-volume setting
  • ability to stand for long periods and work early morning shifts
  • flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Experience preparing pastries and desserts in a high-volume or hotel environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare and bake breakfast pastries and desserts according to standard recipes
  • assist in production of banquet and restaurant desserts
  • properly measure, mix, proof, bake, and finish products in a high-volume production setting
  • maintain adequate supply of all prepared products and ensure proper storage and refrigeration
  • ensure spoilage and waste are minimized by ordering proper quantities and rotating products
  • maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area in compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • support restaurant, banquet, and resort dining operations with baked goods
