Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven pastry baking experience
- Ability to work full time Thursday through Monday from 4:00 am to 12:30 pm
- Must be able to handle physical demands of baking work
- Willingness to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Pastry experience required
- Ability to follow recipes and production specifications precisely
- Experience with baking a variety of breads, cakes, cookies and pastries
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work under pressure during peak production times
- Good communication skills for team collaboration and customer interaction
- Commitment to sanitation and safety regulations
Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per production and catering sheets
- Assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- Ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes and following production standards
- Complete production records including waste tracking and product shortages
- Maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and utensils
- Handle food items safely and follow all safety regulations
- Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, customer-service oriented manner
