Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies, and other pastries as necessary per production and catering sheets
  • assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
  • ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes and following prescribed production standards and equipment use
  • assist with completion of production records including waste tracking, used/unused portions, and product shortages
  • inform supervisor when supplies are low
  • ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures
  • maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies, and utensils in work area
  • handle food items appropriately while adhering to all safety regulations
  • clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving area
  • keep display equipment clean and free of debris
  • interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner
  • relay relevant concerns to supervisors
  • maintain calm, accurate, and efficient performance during peak production and service
  • check that food is presented, served, and displayed per standards
  • follow sanitation and safety principles ensuring compliance with corporate and OSHA standards
  • complete shift work in timely and thorough manner
  • perform other duties as assigned
