Job Requirements
- Previous professional baking experience of one or more years
- Ability to read and convert established recipes using standard units of measurement
- Ability and desire to work on a baking production team with creative openness
- Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills
- Detail oriented and able to multi-task and remain flexible to the changing needs of the business
- Regular, predictable attendance
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 30 or more pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to safely use bakery equipment and tools
- Manual dexterity with ability to perform repetitive motions for extended periods
- Ability to work in refrigerated, frozen, hot, and humid environments
- Ability to be exposed to and handle dietary allergies safely
- Ability to climb ladders, kneel, crouch, and bend occasionally
Job Qualifications
- Previous professional baking experience for at least one year
- Previous cake decorating experience preferred
- Ability to read and convert established recipes using standard units of measurement
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Creative eye and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Interest in natural, organic, and specialty foods preferred
