Job Requirements
- Must have professional baking experience such as hotels, HEB, and restaurant
- open availability for full and part-time schedules
- ability to adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to handle cleaning and maintenance of baking equipment
- ability to work flexible hours including potential peak production periods
- willingness to perform various baking and production duties as assigned
- ability to interact effectively with customers and team members
Job Qualifications
- Professional baking experience in hotels, restaurants, or grocery stores such as HEB
- ability to follow approved recipes and production standards
- experience with handling food safely and hygienically
- customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers
- ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the workspace

- capable of completing records and documentation accurately
Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per the provided production and catering sheets
- assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes, following prescribed production standards and use of proper equipment
- assist with the completion of production records including waste tracking, used/unused portions and product shortages
- inform supervisor when supplies are low
- ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
- maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils within work area
- handle food items appropriately and with all safety regulations in mind during preparation and service
- clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments
- keep display equipment clean and free of debris
- interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly and customer-service oriented manner
- relay relevant concerns from customers directly to supervisors
- consistently exhibit the ability to keep up with peak production and service calmly, accurately and efficiently
- check to ensure that all food is presented, served and displayed per standards
- follow principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment, ensuring corporate and OSHA safety standards are followed
- complete shift work, as assigned, in a timely and thorough manner in accordance with department standards
- perform other duties as assigned
