Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- follows recipes and make-up instructions
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies and procedures
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- provides exceptional customer service to members
- leverages digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience
- maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready bakery area
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- eliminates waste and ensures quality and date control standards for bakery items
- models high quality service and products
- adheres to company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- communicates and collaborates effectively with team members and management
- adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback
