Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates with team members and adapts to business needs
- prepares bakery merchandise by operating baking equipment according to recipes and instructions
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise following company policies
- ensures compliance with food safety, sanitation, and inventory management standards
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes bakery equipment
- utilizes handheld technology for production, ordering, and quality control
- maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready work area
- assists members with bakery orders and purchasing decisions
- secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- eliminates waste and ensures quality and date control standards are met
- advocates for the department by modeling high-quality service and products
- complies with company policies and ethics standards
- communicates progress and collaborates with managers and coworkers
- adapts to change and incorporates feedback to improve performance
