Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates with team members
- works flexibly across business needs
- prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- follows recipes and make-up instructions
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution
- leverages digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience
- uses hand-held technology to make business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality
- adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them
- commits to operational excellence by maintaining work area according to policies
- ensures quality and date control standards
- secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- eliminates waste
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored
- advocates for the department and club by providing high quality service and products
- complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards
- completes work assignments by collaborating with managers and coworkers
- identifies priorities, deadlines and adapts to feedback and change
