Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- Prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- Follows recipes and make-up instructions accurately
- Wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies and procedures
- Ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- Operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- Provides exceptional customer service to members
- Maintains a clean and member-ready area
- Utilizes handheld technology for production, ordering, and training decisions
- Secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- Eliminates waste and assists members with purchasing decisions
- Advocates for the department and models high-quality service and products
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
