Job Duties

  • Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
  • communicates with team members and is flexible to business needs to work in other areas
  • prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment and following recipes and make-up instructions
  • wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies and ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
  • operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
  • utilizes handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality
  • maintains work area according to company policies and procedures
  • ensures quality and date control standards for bakery items
  • assists members with purchasing decisions
  • complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
  • completes work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, co-workers, and customers and adapting to change and feedback
