Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- successfully complete all job-required training and assessments within a prescribed time period

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in bakery or food production is a plus
- ability to operate bakery equipment safely
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- basic computer literacy to utilize digital tools
- commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
- customer service oriented
- ability to multitask and perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates with team members and adapts to business needs by working in other areas
- prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- follows recipes, make-up instructions, and company policies for wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain compliance
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- uses handheld technology to make business decisions related to production and merchandise ordering
- maintains work area cleanliness and adheres to quality and date control standards
- assists members with purchasing decisions and provides exceptional customer service
- follows company policies and ethical standards
- completes assigned tasks by collaborating with managers and co-workers, prioritizing deadlines and communicating progress
