Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in bakery or food preparation preferred
- ability to operate bakery equipment safely
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- proficiency with handheld technology or willingness to learn
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- customer service experience preferred
- demonstrated problem-solving skills
- teamwork and collaboration mindset
Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates with team members and adapts to business needs by working in other areas
- prepares bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment and following recipes
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- utilizes handheld technology to make production and quality decisions
- maintains work area according to company policies and procedures
- secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- eliminates waste
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- provides exceptional customer service and answers member inquiries
- maintains a positive attitude by engaging with members
- complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards
- completes assignments using data and resources
- communicates progress and recommends improvements
- adapts to changes and feedback
