Job Qualifications

- ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
- familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
- experience using digital tools or handheld technology a plus

- ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced work environment
Job Duties
- Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- follow recipes and make-up instructions for bakery items
- wrap, label, and store bakery merchandise according to company policies and food safety standards
- utilize handheld technology to support production, ordering, training, and product quality decisions
- maintain work area cleanliness and ensure operational excellence
- assist members with purchasing decisions and provide exceptional customer service
