Job Duties

  • Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team
  • communicate with team members and be flexible to work in other areas as business needs arise
  • prepare bakery merchandise by operating baking equipment and following recipes and make-up instructions
  • wrap, label, and store bakery products following company policies and procedures
  • ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
  • operate, maintain, and sanitize baking equipment
  • leverage digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and manage production and merchandise ordering
  • maintain commitment to operational excellence by ensuring quality control, date control, securing merchandise, eliminating waste, and assisting members with purchase decisions
  • uphold company policies, ethics, and integrity by implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy
  • complete assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and stakeholders, communicating progress, and adapting to feedback
