- basic math skills for inventory and production management
Job Duties
- Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicate with team members and be flexible to work in other areas as business needs arise
- prepare bakery merchandise by operating baking equipment and following recipes and make-up instructions
- wrap, label, and store bakery products following company policies and procedures
- ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operate, maintain, and sanitize baking equipment
- leverage digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and manage production and merchandise ordering
- maintain commitment to operational excellence by ensuring quality control, date control, securing merchandise, eliminating waste, and assisting members with purchase decisions
- uphold company policies, ethics, and integrity by implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy
- complete assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and stakeholders, communicating progress, and adapting to feedback
- act as a talent ambassador by valuing member experience, modeling high-quality service, and exhibiting energy and passion for work
