Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within prescribed time period if hired
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to lift and carry bakery merchandise as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in bakery or food service is a plus but not required
- ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- communicates with team members
- adapts to the needs of the business to work in other areas
- prepares bakery merchandise following recipes and daily production needs
- operates baking equipment according to company policies
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise while ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- ensures sanitation, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operates and sanitizes equipment
- demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution
- utilizes handheld technology for production decisions and merchandise ordering
- adapts to new digital tools and encourages team use
- maintains operational excellence by keeping work area clean and organized
- monitors quality and date control standards
- secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- eliminates waste
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- advocates for high-quality service and product standards in the department
- complies with company policies and ethics
- collaborates with managers, co-workers, and customers to complete work assignments
- identifies priorities and deadlines
- communicates progress and recommends improvements
- adapts to change and feedback
