Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Able to complete all job-required trainings and assessments within prescribed timeframes
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks associated with bakery production
- Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace and adhering to safety standards
- Effective communication skills for member interaction and teamwork
- Ability to adapt to changing workloads and priorities
- Reliable transportation to the workplace if applicable.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in bakery or food preparation environments is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow recipes and safety guidelines accurately
- Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Comfortable using technology and handheld devices for operational tasks
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods and multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- Prepares bakery merchandise according to daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- Follows recipes, make-up instructions, and company policies for wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise
- Ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management practices
- Operates, maintains, and sanitizes baking equipment
- Utilizes handheld technology for production decisions, merchandise ordering, and training
- Maintains a clean and member-ready work area
- Assists members with purchasing decisions and answers questions with exceptional customer service
- Demonstrates energy, commitment, and passion in executing high-quality service
- Adheres to company policies, standards of ethics, and operational procedures.
