Job Requirements

Job Duties
- collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment
- follows recipes and make-up instructions
- wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies and procedures
- ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment
- demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution
- leverages digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience
- utilizes handheld technology for business decisions related to production, ordering, training, and product quality
- ensures commitment to operational excellence by maintaining work area according to policies and procedures
- ensures quality and date control standards for bakery items
- secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- eliminates waste
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored
- advocates for the department and club by valuing member experience and modeling high-quality service and products
- executes basics at the highest level of quality
- exhibits energy, commitment, and passion for the work
- complies with company policies, ethics, and standards
- completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources
- collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and other partners
