Job Duties
- Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- prepare bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes and make-up instructions
- wrap, label, and store bakery merchandise according to company policies and procedures
- ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operate, maintain, and sanitize baking equipment
- utilize handheld technology to manage production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality
- maintain work area according to company policies, ensuring quality and date control standards
- assist members with purchasing decisions and provide exceptional customer service
- maintain a clean and member-ready bakery area
- comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and business partners, communicate progress and information
- adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback
