Renowned for its lively atmosphere and exceptional amenities, The Village Dallas is a sought-after living destination that offers residents and visitors an outstanding experience every day. The community is dedicated to fostering a positive and motivating work environment where enthusiastic team members can thrive while contributing to the overall mission and goals of the establishment. At The Village Dallas, the emphasis is placed on serving residents with excellence, delivering high-quality products and services that meet the brand's rigorous standards. The team values integrity, collaboration, and a drive to achieve BIG goals, ensuring a rewarding career journey for each individual.

The Baker role at The Village Dallas is essential to the success of the food services offered throughout the community. Reporting directly to the head baker, this position involves performing a variety of baking and pastry duties to prepare products that will be enjoyed by residents and guests across the complex. The baker will work in a professional kitchen environment where cleanliness, quality, and efficiency are critical. Key responsibilities include preparing and baking a wide range of items according to established recipes and safety guidelines, maintaining a hygienic workspace, and assisting in inventory management by receiving and stocking deliveries using first-in, first-out (FIFO) methods. Additionally, this role requires flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays to meet operational demands.

A unique aspect of this position is the opportunity to mentor interns and foster their integration into the production process, supporting their growth and development in a culinary career. The Village Dallas takes pride in maintaining a team-oriented environment where cross-training is encouraged to enhance versatility and job satisfaction. This role demands physical agility, including the ability to lift heavy ingredients, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions safely in a setting exposed to various environmental conditions like heat, cold, and humidity.

Prospective candidates will benefit from possessing a passion for baking, strong organizational skills, and the ability to solve problems independently. Mathematical competency involving fractions, decimals, and metric measurements is also important. The Village Dallas champions diversity and inclusivity, promoting equal employment opportunities irrespective of gender, race, religion, ethnicity, nationality, or sexual orientation. Joining this team means being part of an energetic and forward-thinking community dedicated to excellence and continuous improvement, providing a fulfilling career in a stimulating environment where your skills and enthusiasm will be highly valued.
