We are currently seeking a Baker to join our team. This role is critical to the success and daily operations of our bakery as the quality of our bagels starts with the person who bakes them. Bakers at Bruegger's begin their day early, sometimes as early as 3 AM, preparing dough and baking the signature bagels that customers love. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their craft and enjoy being part of a team dedicated to outstanding service and product quality. A typical day for the Baker involves not only producing high-quality bagels and pastries but also stocking the bagel wall and pastry case to ensure that fresh products are always available for guests. Bakers often assist with order taking, sandwich making, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment, contributing actively to an excellent customer experience.

This position offers competitive pay ranging from $11.67 to $18.67 per hour, plus cash and credit card tips, making it a rewarding opportunity both professionally and financially. Job Requirements

must be at least 18 years or older
must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
must be able to work varied hours and days as business dictates including early hours as early as 3am depending on the restaurant and weekends
must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license always preferred but only required at specific locations and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy

Job Qualifications

must be at least 18 years old
ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
reliable and able to work varied hours and days including early mornings and weekends
strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
excellent teamwork and communication skills
prior baking experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

bake and prepare quality bagels and pastries according to company recipes and standards
stock the bagel wall and pastry case to ensure product availability
assist with order taking and sandwich making to support excellent guest service
maintain cleanliness and safety in the bakery and store environment
work as part of a team to uphold product quality and customer satisfaction
manage early morning bakery operations efficiently
adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
