The role of Baker at Hidden Grounds Coffee is integral to maintaining the brand's reputation for excellence in baked goods. This full-time position, offering a competitive hourly wage of $17.00 to $19.00, invites experienced and passionate bakers to join the team and contribute to the café’s culinary offerings. Reporting directly to the co-founder, Spoorthi Kumar, the Baker will be responsible for preparing an array of baked goods including fresh breads, pastries, and distinctive donuts that not only taste outstanding but also are visually appealing.

This role demands a high level of creativity and technical skill, as the Baker will work closely with the Head Baker to develop innovative products that align with seasonal menus and customer preferences. Attention to detail, adherence to food safety standards, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace are crucial responsibilities.   • 1+ years of experience as a baker or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
  • Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to work early morning and weekend shifts

  • Strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience as a baker or similar role

  • Experience working with donuts is a plus

Job Duties

  • Prepare and bake a wide variety of breads, pastries, and donuts using fresh, high-quality ingredients
  • Create visually appealing and delicious baked goods that meet our high standards of taste and presentation
  • Work closely with the Head Baker to create new and innovative baked goods that align with seasonal menus and customer demands
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and baking area at all times
