The Baker must skillfully operate commercial-grade mixers, ovens, and measuring instruments to achieve precise results. Maintaining baking and refrigeration logs is essential to uphold food safety and quality. The position requires standing for extended periods and handling materials weighing up to 50 pounds. - effectively utilizes measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers and ovens, and other tools to bake cakes
- accurately prepares raw ingredients and equipment for baking, places cake pans into hot oven and monitors the baking process
- adheres to the proper packaging, labeling, and storage of baked cakes as well as product rotation standards, and maintains baking and refrigeration logs
- maintains a consistent work attendance and punctuality record
- must be able to stand for long periods of time
- must be able to lift and move 50 pounds
