We are currently seeking a dedicated baker to join our afternoon baking team. This position offers flexibility as either part-time or full-time employment, making it ideal for someone looking to integrate into a supportive, dynamic baking environment. The baker will be responsible for the day-to-day production and presentation of baked goods made on-site in small batches to ensure freshness and quality. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the high standards that Harvest Market customers expect by producing delicious and beautifully presented bakery items.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of baking experience in a professional kitchen or comparable setting, with a strong ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently. The baker will manage the inventory, production records, and quality assurance of all baked goods, oversee packaging and presentation, and comply with ServSafe and health code standards. Additionally, they will collaborate with the team to develop new products that align with the market's sustainable food philosophy.

The role demands excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, as the baker will prepare daily production lists, maintain a clean and orderly work environment, and ensure efficient workflow with a sense of urgency. The baker will also be expected to foster a positive workplace atmosphere by communicating effectively with the Kitchen Manager and supporting team members as needed. Job Duties

  • Record inventory, loss, and production of all baked goods
  • Create the daily bakery production list

  • Ensure the adherence to all ServSafe and health code standards
